"Edd" and "Pete" are the disturbing alter egos of Coventry music duo Super Cash Gamble. The characters were formed after listening to banter recorded in between rehearsal takes, and noting some of the alarming twists the conversation would take after massive consumption of alcohol.

In this series of short skits, puppetmaster Pete leads an enthusiastic Edd into the darkest recesses of his own mind, baiting him with topics as vile as Ian Huntley, serial rape, wanking in public lavatories and desecrating Princess Diana's grave.
